アフガニスタンでは、6月15～17日の3日間、アフガニスタン政府とタリバンの間で、これまで一度も実現していなかった停戦が実現しました。

政府側、タリバン側の兵士、人びとが歓喜し、抱き合って喜ぶという信じがたい光景が見られました。市民が間に立ち、政府とタリバン側の双方が平和に向けての意見を交わすという集まりがあったことも報告されています。人びとが平和を渇望していることは明らかです。

この停戦にあたり、JVCを含む日本のNGOは、アフガニスタンの人々ととに、あらためて、平和を希求し、アフガニスタンにおける停戦の延長、暴力の停止、和平プロセスの進展を求めます。

私たちは、アフガニスタンの人びととともに、アフガニスタンの支援に関わる日本のNGOです。私たちは、アフガニスタン政府とタリバンによる初めての停戦を歓迎し、それがもたらした平和への希望を人びとが感じることができた今、あらためて、アフガニスタンにおける平和を希求し、以下の要請をいたします。

私たちは、アフガニスタン政府とタリバンとの間で初めて実現した、このたびの停戦を歓迎いたします。また、これまで一度も実現していなかった初めての停戦にあたり、両者が様々な困難を乗り越えて停戦への決断を行ったことに敬意を表します。双方の兵士や一般の人びとが歓喜している場面が至るところで見られ、また、市民が間に立ち、政府とタリバン側の双方が平和に向けての意見を交わすという集まりがあったことも報告されています。人びとが平和を渇望していることは明らかです。私たちは、政府が、さらなる停戦の延長を表明したことを歓迎し、タリバン側にこれが受け入れられることを望みます。そして関係主体、関係国、日本政府を含む国際社会が、こうした動きを後押しし、停戦延長のためのあらゆる働きかけを行うことを要請します。

停戦による歓喜の一方で、停戦を祝う、もしくは関連する集まりを狙ったと思われる攻撃が行われ、市民を含む多数の死傷者が出ています。私たちは、亡くなられた方のご冥福を謹んでお祈りするとともに、ご家族や親族、友人の皆さまに心より哀悼の意を表します。私たちは、こうした暴力を非難し、ただちに暴力が停止されることを求めます。そして関係主体、関係国、日本政府を含む国際社会が、暴力停止のためのあらゆる働きかけを行うことを要請します。

私たちは現地の人びととともに、現地に根づいて活動に取り組む団体として、暴力によってもたらされるのが悲しみと怒りだけあるということを経験してきました。暴力で問題の解決をもたらすことはできません。このたびの停戦を機に、あらゆる紛争当事者が和平プロセスを進展させることを求めます。そして関係主体、関係国、日本政府を含む国際社会が、そのためのあらゆる働きかけを行うことを要請します。

アフガニスタンの人びととともに、平和を願ってやみません。

We are Japanese NGO engaged in the support of Afghanistan together with the people of Afghanistan. Welcoming the first ceasefire between the Government of Afghanistan and the Taliban, and as people were able to feel the hope for peace that the ceasefire brought about, we will continue seeking peace in Afghanistan and we request for the following:

We welcome the ceasefire which was realized for the first time between the Government of Afghanistan and the Taliban. We express our respect to the decisions made by both parties to achieve the first ceasefire which had never been realized before by overcoming various challenges. We could see soldiers of both sides and people delighted everywhere. It is also reported that citizens stood between the Government and the Taliban, so that both sides could exchange their opinions for peace. It is clear that people are eager for peace. We welcome the Government's announcement of further extension of the ceasefire and hope it will be accepted by the Taliban. We also request that those concerned, concerned countries and the international community including the Japanese Government will support this and take all the necessary actions to extend it.

While joys of ceasefire were observed, there were attacks seemingly targeting a ceasefire celebration and a related gathering, causing many casualties including civilians. We pray for the souls of those who have passed away and express our sincere condolences to their families, relatives and friends. We condemn such violence and demand immediate cessation of violence. We also request that those concerned, concerned countries and the international community including the Japanese Government will take all the necessary actions to stop violence.

As organizations working with people of Afghanistan, rooted in the community, we have experienced fist hand that violence brings about only sadness and anger. Violence cannot solve problems. Alongside the ceasefire of this time, we request to all parties of the conflict to make progress on the peace process. We also request that those concerned, concerned countries and the international community including the Japanese government will take all the necessary actions for the progress on the peace process.

We wish for peace with people of Afghanistan.
